December 2016 –Premier Health Solutions hosted a food drive and made a financial contribution to benefit Frisco Family Services over the past month.  Employees had the opportunity to bring in canned goods, personal hygiene products and shelf-safe foods to donate to the Feed Frisco program that Frisco Family Services organizes.

With more than 5,700 students or 11 percent of Frisco ISD students in the past year qualifying for free or reduced price lunches at school, Premier Health Solutions wanted to find a way to help these students who may not have access to regular meals during the holiday break. Families in this situation can then use their financial resources for other essentials instead – like rent or mortgage payments, utilities and medications.

“With our office and many of our employees located here in Frisco, giving back to our community is a priority and working with Frisco Family Services is an immediate way for us to provide local support,” said Brian Duly, Partner at Premier Health Solutions.

September 2017 — Since Premier Health Solutions is a third-party administrator with members and benefit partners in Texas and Florida, the news of the hurricane devastation brought on by Harvey and Irma created an overwhelming desire to help those affected.

Health Depot Association and Affiliated Workers Association, both of which Premier Health Solutions provides member services for, have members in the affected areas. Each association provided a $500 donation to the Red Cross to make sure those devastated by the hurricanes could get support immediately.

Two of our benefit providers – Compass Patient Advocacy Services and Teladoc – provided emergency resources for those impacted by the hurricane.  We sent emails to help find urgent care centers and/or access care via telemedicine to the members dealing with health needs in the hurricane-impacted areas.

In addition, Premier Health Solutions has been working with each association to make sure social media channels are updated regularly with information regarding benefits and resources available to these members.

This past week, a local outreach agency, Frisco Family Services, communicated a need for food and resources to help evacuees from Harvey, and Premier Health Solutions was pleased to donate $1,000 to help to replenish the food pantry.

Premier Health Solutions is committed to monitoring ongoing clean-up efforts and health needs by those impacted by the hurricanes and providing additional support and resources as they become available.

December 2017 – Premier Health Solutions initiated its second food drive and made a financial contribution to benefit Frisco Family Services. Employees worked together to bring in baking supplies, canned goods, personal hygiene products and baby items to donate to the Feed Frisco program managed by Frisco Family Services.

Texas was especially hard hit in 2017 with Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Many families from the affected cities traveled to Dallas for temporary shelter and resources, exhausting many local food banks. Feed Frisco reached out to local businesses and individuals for help with replenishing provisions to continue to help more families.

“Our hearts go out to the families impacted by the recent disasters, and we are committed to helping our community meet those needs, whether by gathering donations or providing some financial support,” said Michael Krzysiak, Chief Financial Officer at Premier Health Solutions.
